Forest Walk

Holidays are for having fun! So what a joy it was for Usapho Indlu to recently explore our beautiful Garden Route in the Cape Province, expand our knowledge of all that God has created for us to enjoy, enhance our education through outings, and build relationships with one another and our volunteers.

The Easter holidays saw our children adventuring through the beautiful forests on the slopes of the Outeniqua Mountains where there is so much to enjoy and discover.  Volunteers taught our kids so much, as they jumped in the streams, learnt of ecosystems, trees, flowers and insects, explored together and planted seeds of joy and awe that will remain in their hearts forever.

After the walk they strolled to the George Methodist Church where they reinforced their experience by completing fun worksheets and making nature bracelets that they could take home with them.

A picnic followed before they were transported home, never to forget their day spent in nature and with precious friends.
