Local Motion is an NPO operating in the George area, working with youth in our communities. They invited five of our teens to attend a weekend camp in Great Brak River. Our girls were excited to spend time away with new friends and youth leaders, playing games, volley ball, arts, painting and even an Easter Egg Hunt!
The life experiences and teachings will stay with them forever. But the highlight for each of them was discovering their identity in Christ and realising they are “a chosen generation, a royal priesthood”.
Some of our children also attended the Camp Ablaze presented by Ethnos Ministries.
Some of the youngsters’ thoughts were:
“As a teenager we were taught/fed God’s Word telling us that we need to live a holy life.”
“As a teen, if you align your life with Jesus Christ, you become the heir of God, and you live with His abundant love.”
“If you regard God as your Father, He will always be with us, He loves us, he has a plan for a teenager’s life, we can trust him, we are his beloved children.”
